Tom is President of Acadia Associates, an executive search and job transition consulting company. Since 1997, he’s been helping B2B service companies fill senior level positions as well as assisting executives who are in a job transition or planning one.

Prior to Acadia Associates, he was one of several founders of the e-commerce practice at Boyden Global Search and then an early member of Korn/Ferry’s Futurestep division. Before this, he helped start two internet service companies, one of which is the oldest online home listing service across North America. For 10 years, Tom was in logistics management with UPS, Sea-Land Service, and the U.S. Army’s Transportation Corp where he served as a Captain and paratrooper.

Tom is a past president of the Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta and now leads the club’s Career Services. While he’s part of several business clubs, helping teenagers develop leadership skills is his passion.

With teenagers, he primarily works with the Boy Scouts, Outward Bound, and Mount Vernon Presbyterian School’s Business & Entrepreneurship Club. His two sons (Daniel & Miles) graduated from Mount Vernon and daughter Bliss is a senior and School Spirit Prefect and Cheerleading Captain. In 2010, he helped Miles started the Business & Entrepreneurship Club. Bliss took over as co-President last year and Chairman this year.

Tom holds an MBA from Harvard and a BA from St. Lawrence University.
