Terrance

Terrance L. Dixon is a marketing consultant with expertise in higher education enrollment management. Currently, he is Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management for Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA; the nation’s largest private liberal arts college for men. Prior to his return to Morehouse he served as, senior educational manager in Higher Education Services for The College Board, a not-for-profit membership association whose mission is to connect students to college success and opportunity. He is responsible for managing education outreach and service in the areas of admission and recruitment, financial aid, and advising and placement to colleges and universities in the southeastern region.

Prior to joining The College Board, Dixon was associate dean of Recruitment and Admissions at Morehouse College. He provided senior leadership and strategic direction for a comprehensive enrollment strategy that proved to be aggressive, responsive to new trends and markets and consistent in meeting the enrollment goals, mission and strategic business objectives of the College. During his 14-year tenure as associate dean, he also served as a guest lecturer in the Division of Business and Economics.

Before returning to his alma mater in 1995, Dixon spent several years building a marketing career in positions at Delta Airlines, Dun and Bradstreet and Enterprise Leasing Company.

A frequent conference presenter at the national and regional level, Dixon has held positions in the following professional organizations: The College Board, Southern Region SAT Advisory Committee and HBCU Advisory Committee; Southern Association for College Admissions Counseling (board member); and National Association for College Admissions Counseling (regional delegate).

Dixon received a bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Morehouse, and the MBA from Coles School of Business at Kennesaw State University.
