Lawrence M Drake II who has served as a corporate chief executive, successful entrepreneur, active leader in numerous non-profit organizations around the world currently serves as the Chief Executive of LEADership, Education and Development Program, a global knowledge and experiential learning organization that enable youth of diverse backgrounds to convert high potential into high achievement and responsible leadership. He also serves as Chairman of HOPE 360, Inc, and an executive management advisory firm. He is a certified consultant for Personnel Decisions International, an investment adviser for AJIA Capital Holdings, and is a senior partner at Sarus Partners LLC. He retired from The Coca-Cola Company where he was Managing Director, President/CEO of the $1B West Africa Division of Coca-Cola Africa. Previously, he served in senior-level positions with The Executive Leadership Council, PepsiCo, Cablevision Systems Corp., and Kraft Inc and has helped bring several start-ups/mid-stage entrepreneurial companies to market, including Haven Media Group and Dolman Technologies.
He serves or has served on the boards and executive committees of several non-profit organizations including The National Conference for Community and Justice, The California Science Center, Crystal Stairs Inc, LEAD (Leadership, Education and Development), Jarvis Christian College, The Executive Leadership Council, Vine & Oak Foundation North America, and Nehemiah Project Ministries International.
He began his undergraduate education at Fisk University in Nashville Tennessee studying classical vocals, before ultimately receiving a B.A. in sociology from Georgia State University and an M.B.A. from Rockhurst University. Mr. Drake is currently completing his M.A (2013) and PhD (2014) in psychology at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California.
Mr. Drake and wife Janice have four adult children and currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
